LaserBee Demo

Download and Installation Instructions

Operating System: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10

Download  the LaserBee demo file and run it to install the LaserBee demo version on your computer. Then just start LaserBee from the dektop icon or the program list.

If you have installed a previous version of LaserBee, either a demo or a fully working program, then it should be uninstalled before running this installation file.

LaserBee requires Java to run. Most computers will already have Java installed, as it is commonly used by other software, but when you first start LaserBee, you may encounter an error if Java is not already installed. In this case, you will be directed to an appropriate page to download and install a Java Runtime Environment (JRE or a .jre file). Just follow the website instructions to install the Java Runtime Environment, and run LaserBee again.

If Java is installed but has been corrupted in some way, the automatic detection and installation maynot work.  In this case go to http://www.java.com/en/download/ and follow the links to get the appropriate JRE file for your system and re-install it.

Operating System: Mac OS, Ubuntu, Linux, Windows XP / Vista and others

LaserBee is written in Java so will in principle work on any operating system capable of running Java. But – there are a lot of operating systems and versions out there, so please email us at info@lucidos.co.uk with full details of your operating system version and device. We’ll then hopefully be able to supply a copy of the latest LaserBee demo for your system, with appropriate installation instructions.
