Directions to Lucid Training Centre Lucid is towards the top on the picture opposite, and we hope this should get you to within 1000 miles or so... (GPS coordinates are at the bottom of this page).
Our closest town, Sedbergh, is only 5 miles along the A684 from junction 37 of the M6 motorway. Lucid Training Centre is around 5 miles further along the A684 in Garsdale.
Further directions below, with directions from the M1 motorway at the bottom of this page.

Follow the A684 through Sedbergh.
On the far side of Sedbergh, turn right down A684 towards Hawes & Garsdale.
Cross 2 cattle grids and continue for a further 3 miles, until the river runs right next to the road on the right.
Pass a farm set back over a bridge with metal railings on the right, and a whitewashed cottage on the left.
Lucid Training Centre is the next property on the left.

Leave the A1 at the junction for Bedale and turn left onto the A684. Follow the A684 west for 36 miles through Bedale, Leyburn, Hawes to Garsdale. Continue through Garsdale village (very small - don't blink) and past the church. Lucid Training Centre is on the right approximately 1 mile after Garsdale village.
Leave the M1 where it links to the A1 South of Leeds and then follow the directions above for the A1.
Manchester is the nearest international airport to Lucid Training Centre. We usually recommend that people who are flying into the country should either hire a car and drive from the airport (approximately 2 hours), or take a direct train from Manchester to Oxenholme (The Lake District). If you intend to fly into one of the London airports, the best option can often be to take thetube to London (Euston), then a direct train to Oxenholme, which takes around 3 hours. You can get an internal flight to Manchester and then take the train from Manchester to Oxenholme, but this is often not as flexible an option as taking the train (as there are more trains running than flights). Alternative airports in the north of include Newcastle, Leeds-Bradford, and Glasgow. For more information on airports and flights, see Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, London Gatwick, London Heathrow or London Stansted. For information on trains, see the links below.
Our nearest train station on the West Coast Mainline is Oxenholme (The Lake District), near Kendal. There are direct trains from London (Euston) to Oxenholme, and journey times are down to around 3 hours. It then taxes approximately 20 minutes to drive to Sedbergh. Taxis are available at the station, or we can sometimes arrange for lifts from the station to Sedbergh (often depending on arrival times).
We are also very close to Garsdale Station, which is on the famous Settle-Carlisle line. You can travel from London (Kings Cross) to Leeds, and then from Leeds to Garsdale. This journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Again, we can ususally organise to pick you up from the station, with prior arrangement.
For information on train times and prices, please see National Rail Enquiries, The Trainline, or Virgin Trains.
